At the end of each year, I look back to remember the good and try to release the bad. This year, we’re also moving into a new decade, so I’m feeling a need to do a deeper gratitude and release than normal.
I’m a Spotify user, and I happen to love when they create new music playlists for me. This week, they created some playlists for me of my most-listened-to music over the past several years. They’ve been fun to reminisce over, and I thought one way to take stock would be to make a custom playlist for the past decade. Some of the songs on my list are from before 2010, but they’ve been meaningful to me over the past decade.
Songs can bring us right back to certain places, times, and people. They can evoke feelings of sadness, joy, and peace. They can make us dance and cry and feel all the feels.
So here’s my playlist for The Tens. If you listen, I hope you enjoy. And if you decide to make one yourself, please share; I’d love to hear it!
